What Are the Benefits of Dental Implants?

Versatile Options Tailored to Your Needs

single dental implant

Single Dental Implants

A single dental implant replaces one missing tooth with a natural-looking, permanent restoration that protects your jawbone and surrounding teeth. It acts like a natural tooth root to prevent bone loss, preserves your enamel by avoiding support from neighboring teeth, and offers a healthier, longer-lasting solution than a traditional bridge.

Implant-Supported Bridges

An implant-supported bridge replaces several missing teeth in a row with a stable, natural-looking restoration. It uses as few as two implant posts for support, is minimally invasive with long-lasting durability, and restores multiple teeth without relying on your natural teeth.

snap in dentures

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures securely snap onto implants for a stable, comfortable fit without the need for adhesives. They won’t slip, shift, or irritate your gums, help preserve jawbone density and facial structure, and allow confident eating, speaking, and smiling.

Full mouth implants

Full-Mouth Dental Implants

Full-mouth implants restore an entire arch of teeth with a secure, permanent solution that feels natural. This treatment supports a complete smile with multiple implant posts, restores full chewing and biting strength, and creates a beautiful, confident smile you’ll love to share.

What to Expect from the Dental Implant Process

1

Consult & Planning

Your journey to a renewed smile starts with a personalized consultation. Dr. Pinto and our team will assess and discuss your oral health goals during this consultation. We will then use advanced 3D imaging to evaluate your jawbone and plan the exact placement of your dental implants.

We may recommend other procedures, such as tooth extractions or bone grafting, to create a strong foundation for your new teeth. Once your personalized treatment plan is ready, we’ll review all the details, including financing options, and schedule your implant procedure.

2

Procedure & Same-Day Teeth

On the day of your procedure, we’ll ensure your complete comfort with the right pain control and sedation options for your needs. From there, we’ll carefully place the implants into your jawbone using precise techniques.

Depending on your treatment plan, we may be able to place your implants in the same appointment as a tooth extraction or other procedure. We will place your implants by making very small incisions through the gums to access the underlying bone. Once your implants are placed, we will attach the abutment connector. Sometimes, depending on your treatment plan and dental needs, we can attach your temporary teeth this same day.

3

Follow-Up Appointment

Once your implants are in place, we will schedule a follow-up visit to check your progress and ensure the implants integrate with your jawbone correctly. We will also assess the fit of your temporary prosthesis, make minor adjustments if needed, and address any concerns you may have. This step is important to ensure everything is on track for your final restorations.

3

Healing & Final Restorations

Over the next 3-6 months, your implants will fused with your jawbone through osseointegration. Once your implants have fused and your incisions have healed, we’ll replace your temporary teeth with your final set. These teeth are handcrafted down to the last detail. Dr. Pinto designs the shade and shape of your new teeth to complement your skin tone, ensuring a natural look.

He also customizes the shape to perfectly fit the shape of your mouth and align with your facial structure. Whether you have a single crown, bridge, or an entire arch or implant, our custom approach ensures your smile looks beautiful and feels natural. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, permanently giving you a healthy, functional smile.
